Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our Leeds based client for Temporary/Seasonal Production Operatives.
It is essential you are reliable, punctual and hardworking. This work is temporary but there is possibility of longer term work depending on company needs and on the individual.
Shift/salary:
- Monday to Saturday 06:00-14:15 and 13:45-22:00
- Sunday 07:00-15:15
- 2 days off per week often 1 week day and 1 weekend but not guaranteed
- £12.21 per hour
- Weekly pay
- Immediate starts for the right person
The role:
- Assist in preparing and mixing ingredients for baked goods
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately
- Operate baking equipment and ovens safely
- Decorate cakes and pastries according to specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area
- Support the bakers
- Monitor inventory levels and help restock supplies as needed
- Follow health and safety regulations in food preparation and handling
The candidate:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction accurately
- Good organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient workspace
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Basic knowledge of baking equipment and ingredients preferred but not essential
