Cogent Staffing are recruiting for experienced Manufacturing Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis. Our client are a leading manufacturer of their industry. Full training will provided for this role.
IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE & PERMANENT ROLES AFTER 12 WEEKS FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATES
YOU MUST BE PREPARED TO WORK DAYS AND NIGHTS (12 HOUR SHIFTS) WITH WEEKENDS INCLUDED (4 ON/4 OFF SHIFT PATTERN)
Shift/salary:
- Shifts are continental: 4 x 12 hour day shifts (7am-7pm) followed by 4 days rest period then 4 x 12 hour nights (7pm-7am)
- This pattern continues, including days, nights and some weekends.
- £13.96, rising after 12 weeks , permanent/after 12 full weeks of work.
- All necessary training is provided however previous experience in a physical role and with working both days and nights would be a big benefit.
- Temporary to permanent opportunity.

The role:
- Loading and unloading machines
- Machine minding / machine operating
- Quality checking products
- Completing assembly duties using hand held power tools
- Moving heavy raw materials where required
- Assisting in the moving of finished products
- General site maintenance and departmental upkeep in line with health and safety
The candidate:
- Can commit long term to the shift pattern
- Ability to work DAYS, NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS
- Is able to and from commute to Elland, Halifax for 7am Monday – Sunday
- Has previous experience in a similar or physical role
- Is receptive to training and willing to learn
- Can communicate well and has an eye for detail
Following 12 weeks probation period successful candidates will be offered a permanent contract within the company.
