We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage manufacturing projects from initiation to completion for our Bradford based client. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sheet metal processes, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
THE ROLE:
- Plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party contractors/vendors for seamless project execution.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and team members.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide regular updates on project status.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimise manufacturing processes.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a positive work environment.
THE CANDIDATE:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on sheet metal work preferred.
- Proficient in project management software
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive under pressure.
THE SALARY & HOURS:
- Upto £40k PA DOE
- Monday to Friday 7:30 – 16:30
