Bagging Operative

Our client based in Leeds LS10 are looking for bagging operatives to join them on a temp to perm basis.

We are looking for candidates who are flexible on working hours and have previous experience in within production or manufacturing sector.

You will be required to work days but in peak seasons nights and 12 hour shifts maybe required.

Salary/shift:

• Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00 Friday 08:00-16:00 (daytime hours)
• Monday to Thursday 17:00-05:00 Friday 16:00-00:00 midnight (nighttime hours)
• £12.21 per hour standard pay rate (days) with higher pay once trained
• Over time over 39 hours £14.16
• £15.87 per hour pay rate (nights)
• 12 hour day shifts required during peak periods
• Weekend work required during peak periods
• Overtime paid on all hours over 39 hours per week
• Higher night pay
• Higher weekend pay
• Double pay on bank holidays
• Weekly pay
• Temporary to permanent opportunity

The role:

• Operate bagging machines
• Load pallets
• QC checks
• Manual handling

The candidate:

• Has suitable experience or a background in warehouse or machine operations
• Good health and safety ethic
• Hard working and reliable
• Basic computer literacy, excel, internal software systems for data logging.
• Full training will be given
