Goods In Operative

Cogent Staffing are recruiting for Goods In Operatives for our Huddersfield based client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manual handling tasks, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods within the facility.

Role summary:

You will play a crucial role in maintaining operational flow and supporting the team in meeting production goals.

Shift/salary:

• Immediate starts available
• Working Monday to Friday, day shifts
• £12.71 per hour
• Ongoing, temporary to permanent role
• Weekly pay

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual handling tasks as required, ensuring safe and efficient movement of materials.
• Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and organization.
• Unloading containers, palletising and storing goods.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse and performing manual labor.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
