- Break down cardboard for recycling.
- Organize and sort scrap materials and waste.
- Dismantle cages and other structures as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials.
- Safely operate and maintain production machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections for quality control.
- Support team members with various yard tasks.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
- Report any hazards or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, or production environment preferred but not essential
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Comfortable working outdoors in a yard environment
- Willing to carry out repetitive tasks as required
- Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads
- Good attention to detail when sorting and inspecting materials
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Able to follow instructions and work to deadlines
- Immediate availability preferred
