The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse / FLT Operative to join our busy logistics client in Leeds LS27.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be responsible for goods in/out, stock control, forklift operation, and maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards.

• A valid FLT licence is essential.
• Reach truck licence is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading domestic and international vehicles safely and efficiently
• Operating counterbalance and/or reach forklift trucks
• Receiving goods into the warehouse, checking quantities and condition
• Completing all goods in/out documentation accurately
• Picking and packing products in line with operational requirements
• Storing goods efficiently to maximise warehouse space
• Conducting stock checks and inventory audits
• Inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies
• Liaising with drivers and subcontractors
• Carrying out safety checks on handling equipment and warehouse facilities
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across warehouse and yard areas
• Supporting health & safety compliance, including fire safety awareness

About You

• Valid FLT licence (essential)
• Reach truck licence (preferred)
• Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Comfortable completing paperwork and using basic computer systems (MS Office)
• Team player with a proactive attitude
• Flexible and reliable
