Role Purpose

Provide administrative and operational support to the Batley Warehouse, ensuring systems, records, and paperwork are accurate, compliant, and up to date to drive efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across warehouse operations
  • Maintain and update systems, records, and documentation
  • Data input/export and report creation using spreadsheets
  • Analyse operational data (stock flow, transport, fleet, site financials, environmental KPIs)
  • Support transport systems (e.g., tachograph, Podfather)
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and ensure legal export documentation compliance
  • Liaise with transport teams, couriers, suppliers, and contractors
  • Collate training and Health & Safety records
  • Support internal and external communications
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes
  • Deliver against KPIs and provide strong customer service

Skills & Experience – Essential

  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Data collection, analysis, and report building experience
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Awareness of Health & Safety requirements
  • Understanding of warehouse inventory systems

Desirable

  • Experience in a large warehouse or eCommerce operation
  • Knowledge of warehouse and transport management systems
