Cogent Staffing are recruiting for a Sales/Accounts Manager to join our client, an established food supplies company, on a full time basis.

Experience of sales within the foods supplies industry is not required but experience in the sales/account management is essential.

Shifts/salary:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 09:00-17:00 (can be flexible)
  • £25,000 – £27,000
  • Temporary to permanent opportunity
  • In order to receive the higher pay rate you must have proven work history (3 years minimum) within a similar role

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers.
  • Present and promote our products and services effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to team goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls and sales activities.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends.
  • Follow up leads from trade events.
  • Generate own sales leads.
  • Provide sales quotes.
  • Deal with product enquires.
  • Upsell products where needed.
  • No KPI’s or sales targets.

Key requirements:

  • Worked within sale, account management, telesales role or similar.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • Be happy to carry out B2B sales on behalf of the organisation.
