FLT Driver

We are currently recruiting experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join a busy manufacturing company on a temporary basis for 8–12 weeks. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established business offering consistent hours and immediate starts.

Shift/salary:

• Week 1: Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days
• Week 2: Off 2 days, work 2 days, off 3 days
• Full Sequence: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
• Working days only to start but may move onto working days AND nights as needed
• 06:00-18:00 (& 18:00-06:00) including week days and weekends
• £12.80 per hour
• Temporary role for 8-12 weeks (possibility of extending)
• Immediate start available

The role:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving stock and materials around the manufacturing site
• Supplying production lines with materials
• Completing relevant paperwork and stock checks
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures

The candidate:

• Valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB/ITSSAR or equivalent)
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Able to work continental day shifts
