Internal Sales Support

Our client is recruiting for an Internal Sales Support Specialist to join their busy sales office. The successful candidate will manage a growing client account base and collaborate with the external sales team during initial product development phases. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of customer-facing experience in the print or packaging industry, possess strong technical product specification capabilities, and take complete ownership of customer satisfaction from original enquiry through to delivery.

Shifts & Salary

• Full-time, permanent
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• £29,000 per annum starting salary, rising to £32,000 per annum upon completion of training

Key Responsibilities

• Provide complete end-to-end service and account management for existing and new clients, answering phone and email queries promptly and professionally.
• Assist with technical product specifications alongside external sales reps to deliver solutions that satisfy both client expectations and commercial requirements.
• Coordinate effectively across internal departments to fulfill customer orders within strict timeframes and assist with completing tender documentation to tight deadlines.
• Comply with site operational procedures, maintaining ISO 9001 quality compliance,
• ISO 14001 environmental standards, BRC guidelines, and health and safety practices.
• Support internal sustainability initiatives by tracking, recording, and maintaining ESG key performance indicators within your area of responsibility.

Key Requirements

• At least 12 months of customer service or account management experience gained specifically within a print or packaging business.
• GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport across internal teams and client bases.
• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize daily workloads effectively.
