Our well established chemical manufacturing client based near Halifax are looking to recruit a Production Operative/Chemical Processor to join their small team on a temporary to permanent basis, the role will be to mix chemicals to form their product to specification.
THE ROLE:
- Mixing chemicals, following batch sheets
- Assisting with machine clean downs
- Weighing chemicals, working with numbers
- Working in a team environment, reporting to the supervisor
THE CANDIDATE:
- Must have experience in production/machine operating
- Mixing experience in chemical or food manufacturing industries is preferred
- Experience of working with chemicals is highly advantageous
- Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role
- Must be confident with numbers and working to specifications
THE SALARY & BENEFITS
- £11.80 per hour
- Overtime is paid at time and one half
- 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday
