Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our Huddersfield based client for an experienced Warehouse Administrator to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. It is essential you have a background in warehouse administration and are reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Role summary:
As an integral member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for administration, stock management and compliance.
Shift/salary:
- Monday to Friday
- 06:00-14:00
- Office hours working 37.5 hours per week
- £12.21 per hour
- Temporary to permanent role
The role:
This is a hands on role working within the warehouse not just at a desk – the successful candidate will be part of the warehouse team
- Operating forklift/PPT once trained or if licences held
- Updating inventory with stock levels of products
- Creating pick sheets
- Check orders and completed picks
- Reporting incomplete picks
- Responding to emails
- Log errors and non conformance
- Complete sporadic free rack checks, ensuring location and inventory accuracy
- Check and count high priority SKU’s – investigate any discrepancies
- Assist and action stock-stake preparation
- Spot-check locations
The candidate:
- Previous experience in warehouse administration or a similar role
- Strong understanding of compliance regulations in a warehouse environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
