Ground Worker

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Groundworker to join our client’s busy installation team. This is a hands-on role supporting the installation of signage and structures, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

As a Groundworker within the Hiab Installation Team, you will play a key role in preparing sites, carrying out groundwork, and supporting installation activities. The role will involve working away from home, including occasional overnight stays. We are looking for someone who is flexible, practical, and dependable, with a willingness to work overtime when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out groundwork, including digging, concreting, and site preparation
• Assist with the installation of signage and supporting structures on-site
• Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Follow site plans and installation instructions accurately
• Work closely with team members to ensure projects run smoothly
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Health & Safety

Safety is always a priority. All work must be carried out in line with health and safety procedures, with appropriate use of PPE and equipment at all times.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in groundwork or construction is desirable
• Practical, hands-on approach to work
• Willingness to travel and stay away overnight when required
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
• CSCS card required
• CPCS card preferred (but not essential)
