Cogent Staffing are seeking a motivated and reliable Food Packing Operative to join our Normanton based client on a temporary, ad hoc basis.

Role summary:

This is casual work NOT a full time job, there may be more opportunities for the right person but this is not guaranteed. The ideal candidate will have some experience in food production and it is essential you can do very fast paced packing.

WORK IS WITHIN A COLD, REFRIGERATED ENVIRONMENT WORKING WITH RAW MEAT.

Shift/salary:

• Starting work ASAP
• Great public transport links, on site canteen and break room
• Immediate starts

• 06:00-16:00
• £12.21 per hour
• Weekly pay

The role:

• Pack food products efficiently and accurately according to specifications.
• Ensure all packing areas are clean and organized.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet standards.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.

The candidate:

• Previous experience in food production is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
